Information We Collect
RoomMinded is a content site — most of it can be read without giving us any information at all. We only collect data in these specific cases:
- Newsletter sign-up: if you subscribe via the form on this site, your email address is passed to our email newsletter provider, Buttondown, so we can send you updates. We don't collect this unless you actively submit the form.
- Site analytics: if analytics is enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how visitors move through the site — page views, approximate location (city/country level), device and browser type. This is aggregate usage data, not tied to your name or contact details.
Cookies
Google Analytics, where enabled, sets cookies in your browser to distinguish visits. You can block or delete these at any time through your browser's settings without affecting your ability to read the site.
We don't use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Affiliate Links
Some product links on RoomMinded are affiliate links, and clicking one may result in the retailer's own tracking cookie being set on their site once you leave RoomMinded — that happens on the retailer's domain, under their own privacy policy, not ours.
How We Use Your Information
Newsletter emails are used only to send you the updates you signed up for. Analytics data is used only to understand and improve the site. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing.
Your Rights
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email we send. You can ask us what data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us — see below.
Children's Privacy
RoomMinded is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
